Job Description – Architect 

Company: Hive Space Architects 

Location: Coimbatore (CBE) 

Employment Type: Full-Time 

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed designs based on client requirements. 
• Prepare 2D drawings, working drawings, 3D models, and presentations. 
• Coordinate with clients, structural consultants, contractors, and vendors. 
• Conduct site visits and monitor design implementation and project progress. 
• Ensure designs meet functional, aesthetic, technical, and regulatory requirements. 
• Assist in material selection, specifications, and design detailing. 
• Review drawings and resolve design/technical issues during execution. 
• Manage multiple projects while maintaining quality and timelines. 

Required Skills & Qualifications 

• B.Arch / M.Arch from a recognised institution. 
• 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred; freshers with strong portfolios may also apply. 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D modelling/rendering software such as SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray. 
• Knowledge of architectural detailing and construction drawings. 
• Strong design sense, creativity, and attention to detail. 
• Good communication and client-handling skills. 
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants and site teams. 
• Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities. 
• Portfolio of architectural projects is preferred.
