CNC Operator

Job Summary

Operate, set up, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision components in accordance with engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules while ensuring safety, efficiency, and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and basic program verification.
• Inspect components using precision measuring instruments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Monitor machine performance and maintain production quality.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area.
• Record production data and report quality or machine issues.
• Comply with safety, quality, and 5S standards.

Key Skills

• CNC machine operation and setup
• Blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation
• Precision measurement (Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge)
• Knowledge of CNC controls (Fanuc/Siemens/Mitsubishi preferred)
• Basic GD&T understanding
• Tooling and machining parameter knowledge
