1. Role: PROPOSAL & ESTIMATION ENGINEER ROBOTICS BU 

Key Responsibilities  

• Analyze RFQs and coordinate with Design, Technical, and Procurement teams for inputs 

• Prepare detailed cost estimations including robot cost, tooling, fixtures, electrical components, integration, and logistics.  

• Perform margin calculations aligned with company targets.  

• Prepare structured techno-commercial proposals with scope, exclusions, assumptions, and timelines.  

• Support Sales Engineers in technical clarifications and negotiations.  

• Revise proposals based on customer feedback and scope changes.  

• Maintain proposal database and costing templates for standardization.  

• Ensure proposals are delivered within committed timelines. 

Qualification & Experience  

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Robotics / Electrical Engineering. 

2–5 years of experience in proposal engineering, estimation, or techno-commercial roles (preferably in robotics, automation, or capital equipment). 

Technical Competencies 

• Understanding of robotic automation systems and integration. 

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and BOMs. 

• Strong Excel skills for costing and margin analysis. 

• Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems. 

Soft Skills 

• Strong coordination and follow-up discipline. 

• Structured documentation capability. 

• Commercial awareness and ownership mindset. 

• Time management and deadline commitment.
