Job Description
- Inspect incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Perform dimensional inspection using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Ensure products meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records.
- Identify non-conformities and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Support root cause analysis and implement quality improvement activities.
- Coordinate with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor rejection, rework, and scrap levels.
- Follow quality procedures, 5S, and safety standards.
- Support internal audits, customer audits, and ISO quality management system requirements.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T. Knowledge of measuring instruments and inspection methods. Basic knowledge of quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, 5 Why Analysis, and CAPA. Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
