Job Title: Assembly Technician / Engineer

Job Summary

Responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components and machine sub-assemblies as per technical drawings, quality standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly of machinery and components.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly specifications.

- Perform drilling, tapping, fitting, and other basic mechanical operations.

- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

- Inspect assemblies for accuracy, alignment, and quality.

- Coordinate with the production team to achieve daily production targets.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain tools and work areas.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of mechanical components, tools, and assembly techniques.

- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.

- Basic knowledge of drilling, tapping, fitting, and machine tooling.

- Familiarity with measuring instruments.

- Good attention to detail and problem-solving ability.

- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow production schedules.

Educational Qualification

BE/B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering / Diploma – Mechanical Engineering / ITI – Fitter or relevant mechanical trade.

Experience: Freshers and experienced candidates can be considered.
