Business Development Executive

JOB ROLE:

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate leads through cold calling, existing databases, and field visits

• Pitch and demo Strackit's products (Ecommerce Platform, WhatsApp Automation, Sales CRM) to prospective SMB customers

• Convert leads into paying customers by understanding customer needs and positioning the right product/plan

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of leads, calls, and follow-ups in the Strackit CRM

• Conduct field visits to meet prospects in person, understand their business, and close deals on ground

• Support marketing activities — WhatsApp/email campaigns, database outreach, and promotional follow-ups — to keep the lead pipeline full

• Follow up consistently with warm and pending leads to maximize conversion

• Build long-term relationships with customers to enable upsells and referrals

• Report daily/weekly activity, pipeline status, and conversion numbers to the reporting manager.

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or tele calling (freshers with strong communication skills may apply)

• Comfortable with cold calling and direct field sales

• Basic understanding of SaaS/software products is a plus, not mandatory

• Good communication skills in Tamil and English (Hindi is a plus)

• Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable with a fast-paced startup environment

• Two-wheeler and willingness to travel locally for field visits

• Basic computer/CRM literacy (MS Office, WhatsApp Business, CRM tools)
