SOLAR SERVICE ENGINEER

Key Responsibilities

* Visit solar installation sites for inspection, service, and maintenance.

* Identify and troubleshoot solar panel, inverter, wiring, and electrical issues.

* Attend customer complaints and provide timely technical support.

* Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of solar systems.

* Check system performance and identify faults using appropriate tools.

* Handle inverter errors, generation issues, loose connections, and electrical faults.

* Coordinate with customers and service technicians during site visits.

* Prepare service reports after completing site work.

* Ensure proper safety procedures are followed at all sites.

* Maintain service records and update the management about pending issues.

* Support installation and commissioning teams when required.

Qualification

* Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.

* Experience in solar service, electrical maintenance, or renewable energy is preferred.

* Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can also apply.

Required Skills

* Good knowledge of solar PV systems and inverters.

* Basic electrical and troubleshooting knowledge.

* Good communication and customer-handling skills.

* Ability to work at different project sites.

* Problem-solving and teamwork skills.

* Willingness to travel for site visits.

Preferred Experience

6 months of experience in solar service or electrical maintenance is preferred.
