Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled VMC Setter to set up and operate Vertical Machining Centre machines, ensuring accurate machining as per technical drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up VMC machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Set tool offsets, work offsets, and cutting parameters.
• Perform tool selection, tool setting, and job alignment.
• Monitor machining operations and maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Conduct in-process inspection using measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot basic machining and tooling issues.
• Maintain machine safety, cleanliness, and production standards.

Required Skills:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or related field.
• Hands-on experience in VMC machine setting and operation.
• Knowledge of CNC/VMC programming and G-code basics.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments such as Vernier, Micrometer, and Height Gauge.
• Good understanding of cutting tools, fixtures, and machining processes.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.
